I haven't written in so long.
Anyway, Baba's in China and he's coming back tonight, but he's leaving for Bangladesh a few hours after arriving, 'cause my his eldest brother's daughter is getting married this week. And last night Mom was like, "I have a surprise for you. Your brother's coming tomorrow." I was so shocked, I just stood there with my mouth open and like, "WHAT?!" So I saw him when I got home from school, and me and Mom just got back from the airport. We took my brother, 'cause he's going for my cousin's wedding, too. He'll be back in 9 days, and he'll return to the States 9 days after that.
So this whole absence-of-Baba thing basically means that I have to go places myself, by bus or MRT trains or whatever, right? Right. So I skipped tuition on Sunday and watched Supersize Me, the new Morgan Spurlock film. It was really good. Interesting, and funny, and it makes you think. And next Sunday, I'm going to watch Mean Girls. Or, they’re not showing Eternal Sunshine anymore, are they? Damn. I don’t want to watch something like Mean Girls alone. Stuff like Elephant and Supersize Me and maybe Eternal Sunshine and stuff, I wouldn’t be able to appreciate if I watched with others. So… Who’s free Sunday morning?
