Okay, last Sunday I had lunch with Megan, Timmy, Shampoo, Nat, Yamini, Sugar and Kunal at Seoul Garden. It cost $184! I almost died. Anyway, it's a once-a-year thing so it's okay, I guess. The food was good.
Then on Tuesday, on my actualy birthday, I got one of those surprise birthday cake thingies at lunch. It was a Swensen's ice-cream cake! OH MAN it was so good. But Danis forgot to put it in the fridge or something, so once they took the plastic cover off, the whole thing collapsed and it looked like a box of pudding. So we were like, "Forget plates, let's dig in!" and it was so gross and messy, and everyone started choking on the cocoa powder, but the cake was divine overall so it was all good. At one point, Raphael told me to take off my glasses 'cause he wanted to see them, and just before passing them to him, I realised that they wanted to smoosh the cake in my face, so I was like, "WAITAMINUTE. No way you're gonna cakify me." So then, I continued with my eatingness. But before I had finished scooping up the last bits of liquid-chocolate-pudding-substance, Irene started collecting back all the spoons so she could return them to the canteen vendor, and I got up to help throw the cake box away, when BAM! Irene smooshed the cakeyness into my face. There was all this chocolate dripping off the side of my face and I was screaming "EWWW!!!" and my glasses were oily and I was slimy and I smelled like dairy products for the rest of the day.
But it was fun. My class also gave me a huge birthday card with their (and my) faces on it and I had to carry it on the MRT and it was quite embarrassing.
After school, I met Chong and Megan for dinner. We had sushi. Mmm. I realised how bloody much I miss hanging out with the two of them and Ms. Ng-ing and whatnot. We went to take neoprints but when it was choosing time, we were too slow and instead of choosing 6 pictures, we only picked 4. Damn frustrating. Anyway, there'll be another time! Dun dun dun!!
Then on Friday, I had a sleepover. Shimona, Penny, Karen, Andrea, Sam and Janice came and everyone but Shimona stayed over. It was pretty fun. I realised how much I miss them, too. Especially Shimona, 'cause she didn't stay over!
I got all these random presents:
-Spongebob vibrator (not sex-toy-vibrator, but more like plushie-vibrator) [from Nat]
-Plant from Yamini's room [from Yamini, duh]
-Chocolates [from Mrs. Low, and also from Shampoo]
-Light blue top [from Timmy]
-REALLY cool black T-shirt, 2 pairs of nice panties and hair dryer-straightener [from Megan]
-Jewellery case and Spongebob magnet [from Chong]
-Eeyore bolster [from Shimona]
-Sequinned pink heart necklace [from Penny]
-Around 20 fish (13 of which are still alive), a crab (named Sexton), matching polka-dotted tin box and sticky tape (from Borders, I think), a HUGE pen and a cool tin ashtray [from Sam and Janice]
-Funky belt and lobster beanie buddy [from Andrea]
-REALLY cool beret which looks dumb on me but I love it anyway [from Karen]
-Handmade earrings [from Ivin]
-Earrings [from Mayeesha]
-Paper holdery thingy [from Ms. Yap]
-Egg cup, candle stand and cellphone accessories in the form of soft-toy-puppies [from Sugar]
And then Baba bought some random African stuff from Senegal, like strange-looking cloth, a strange-looking bag, strange-looking accessories...
And I think Kunal's giving me a purple bag...?
WOW I love birthdays! So many random presents!
However, I still have to whine (and dine) a cellphone out of my parents.
