I SO have no willpower. I keep fasting till about, oh, say, 9 o'clock (in the morning). I realise I fasted more properly and righteously when I wasn't supposed to (when I was perioding) and vice versa.
On Saturday I caught Kitty in the kitchen red-pawed with what looked like a worm. Upon closer inspection, I found that it was a be-limbed baby lizard! Totally gross. Sicko Kitty the Lizard Murdererer. Then, I noticed there was blood on the underside of my foot and I thought I'd stepped on the dead lizard's blood, but it turned out I'd stepped on a mosquito! How does ANYONE manage that? Yeah, I dunno. Eee!
Yesterday Megan came over and she got high on a cigarette and threw my new favourite hairband into the bushes. Cheebye. Then we watched Nauveed on Malay news, and then Oprah and then she went home. One of those pointless yet nice-feeling times spent with Megan. :)
Okay, so it looks like I won’t be going to Canada after all. Baba (and Mom, I guess) doesn’t wanna let go of me so soon. Which is quite touching, actually, but... I was kinda looking forward to freedom + responsibilites. If I go with Baba and Mom, I'll have neither. So this means I’ll be going to Dubai, and I’ll join some international high school. Either the British one or the Canadian one.
OKAY, NOW FOR THE EXCITING NEWS.
On Friday, IJC had it's first Sports Day. Now, I don’t really care which house wins or loses or whatever, but this time, since I was in the Taurus cheerleading squad, winning MATTERED. We had 4 dances and 4 stunts, and a cheer at the end. I choreographed a lot of the 2nd and 3rd dances, and I made up the whole cheer + moves, so it mattered. Anyway, we were the only house with an actual costume: white tank tops and red shorts. No random black T-shirts, and no PE uniforms. And we were lucky enough that our music didn't screw up at any point, whereas the other houses had to deal with PA system cock-ups. Phew! Pure luck! And none of our stunts messed up! Everyone was stable, noone fell, and it was close to perfect! Darren was saying he didn't REALLY think we could pull it off in such a coordinated way, by the looks of our last practise. But he was shocked that we did. Yay! And.. oh yeah, WE WON!! It was so cool!! :D :D :D Feedback from the ‘public’ was that Taurus was the hottest squad (obviously, ‘cause we were the only ones in tank tops and like, not t-shirts which would fit our dads. Haha..) and the official school cheerleaders said we were good, but we were like basketball cheerleaders, “only know how to shake booty”. Which is a good thing, right? WOO!! Our last move was so cute, I almost died. It went, “Last of all, you know what? We are gonna kick your [and at this point we all turn around and slap our butt] *POW*!”
Pow, indeed.
