On Saturday night, we had some people over for dinner and we were all up past midnight singing and playing music. This one uncle used to be in a band in Bangladesh and he played the guitar, and my dad's cousin played the tablas and this NUS student played the harmonium and sang. His voice is AMAZING. Then some other people sang, too, but he was the best. Everyone was finally gone by 3.30am. Whoo! Successful party. :D
Then Sunday night, we all went out to Boat Quay for dinner. Mmm chilli crab... I saw Ben at Boat Quay but I didn't realise it was him and I was probably better off not going over to talk to him or my mom would interrogate me till the cows came home.
Then, yesterday went to David Coffeeshop for the sole reason of having a cigarette. Yes, all the way in Woodlands. But I got to buy David's CD! Holy moly it's so damn good. I've been listening to it nonstop! Go buy, if you're a metal fan! Only $5 and no, he didn't ask me to advertise, I'm doing it 'cause people need this. It's mmm mmm good!
Then went to Adeel's house and his kitty is SO DAMN FAT and the guys played video games and I attempted math and we all had a go on the Osim leg massagey thingy. So cool. Then seeing as I wasn't getting any work done, I went home.
AND THEN! SUSHI!! Me and Gigi Apu and Ayesha went for sushi at NUS. Ohh it was so good. I had my love, hana maki. Mmm...
All this talk of good food, and tomorrow's fasting!! AAAHHH!!! Must must must. This MUST be a life changing experience for me. I will make it one. I must cut down on swearing, and being immoral, and all that jazz.
But for now, I have to go listen to the Bloodstone demo. Again.
